Orwell Prize Entries 2010
Submissions for the Orwell Prize 2010 closed on 20th January 2010, with a record number of entries in all three Prizes.
212 books were entered for the Book Prize, 85 journalism entries were received for the Journalism Prize and 164 bloggers - nearly double last year's 83 entrants - submitted blogposts for the Blog Prize.
Only 18 books, 12 journalists and 12 bloggers will be longlisted, with the longlists being announced on 24th March 2010. This means that many great entries will not make it any further, so why not take a look at the entry lists and pick up a book, take a look at a journalist or browse some of the blogs?
